Club Development

The Hockey Development Manager supports the development of local clubs to help to increase their capacity and become strong, sustainable and forward thinking.
Work is currently being done to support Perthshire HC to undertake the SHU Club Development Programme as well as a number of other clubs working towards local authority club accreditation schemes. This work ranges from writing a club development plan, restructuring the club committee, establishing links to Active School Co-ordinators, promoting club youth training, attracting new coaches and supporting the club coach to develop a quality coaching programme.
